Pottery Firing Information
Planning your shelf space
🔥 The kiln interior is approximately 18" × 18"
🔥 Not sure how much fits on one shelf? No worries - estimate what fits and send your pieces - I’ll handle the rest!
🔥 Want to measure more precisely? Use a free, life-size Kiln Shelf Planning Guide. Grab one from the outside pickup table, or request one on the final booking screen and I’ll send it home with your pottery.

Pottery requirements
🫖 Bisque Fires - Use cone 04 low-fire clay or 5-6 clay for bisque
🫖 Bisque Fires - All work must be bone dry
🫖 Glaze Fires - Use clay rated for cone 5-6
🫖 Drippy or untested glazes require kiln cookies. Bring your own or purchase reusable cookies
🫖 Glazed bottoms are okay - I’ll use stilts if needed to prevent fusing to shelves
🫖 Item height: I typically load using 5" high posts unless otherwise requested
