Service Description
Reserve kiln shelves for bisque firing. Drop off your pieces anytime from Friday to Wednesday before 7 pm. Kiln fires Thursday morning. This appointment time represents the scheduled kiln firing - it is not an in-person appointment. Reserve the full kiln (3 shelves) for large sets, or some wide or tall pieces. Remember to plan space for shelf posts. Bisque items can be stacked in the kiln. Pottery requirements: 🫖 Use cone 5/6 clay bodies 🫖 All work must be completely bone dry 🫖 It's recommended to label pieces with your identifying mark 🫖 Remember to account for shelf posts/stilts when estimating how much space you need. 🫖 Item height: I typically load using 5" high posts unless otherwise requested. Drop-off information: ➡️ Drop off your pieces anytime up to 7:00 PM the night before your firing ➡️ This is a home studio. Feel free to park in the driveway or on the street nearby ➡️ Place your pieces on the blue table by the doorway ➡️ The full address will be included in your confirmation email after booking Pickup: ✅ You’ll receive a message when your work is ready — usually by afternoon of the day after firing day. ✅ Please plan to pick up your pieces within 2 weeks of firing, as storage space can be limited. Fees apply for keeping items beyond 2 weeks. ✅ We can coordinate a pickup time or arrange a way for you to pick up your pottery at your convenience
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling drop-offs require 24 hours’ notice. Firing fees are refundable until 24 hours before your scheduled firing. After that, the spot is considered committed and non-refundable.
