Bisque Fire - 3 Shelves (All Day Thu)

Service Description

Reserve kiln shelves for bisque firing. Drop off your pieces any time Friday–Wednesday before 7 pm. The firing starts Thursday morning. This appointment time represents the scheduled kiln firing - it is not an in-person appointment. Planning your shelf space 🔥 Not sure how much fits on one shelf? No worries. 🔥 Estimate what fits and send your pieces - I’ll handle the rest, no stress! 🔥 Or use a life-size Kiln Shelf Planning Guide (yes, it’s paper!). Lay your pieces out at home to see how much space you’re reserving. 🔥 Shelf Guide is free for pickup. Grab one at the outside pickup table, or I’ll send one home after your first firing. Pottery requirements: 🫖 Use cone 04 low-fire clay or 5-6 clay for bisque 🫖 All work must be bone dry 🫖 Item height: I typically load using 5" high posts unless otherwise requested 🫖 Glazed bottoms are okay - I’ll use stilts if needed to prevent fusing to shelves Drop-off information: ➡️ Drop off your pieces anytime up to 7:00 PM the night before your firing ➡️ This is a home studio. Feel free to park in the driveway or on the street nearby ➡️ Place your pieces on the labeled 'drop off' table by the doorway - or knock on the door to hand off in-person. Per your preference. ➡️ The full address will be included in your confirmation email after booking Pickup: ✅ You’ll receive a message when your work is ready - usually the afternoon after firing day. ✅ Please plan to pick up your pieces within 2 weeks of firing, as storage space can be limited. Storage fees apply after 2 weeks. ✅ We can schedule a specific pickup time, or I can leave your labeled box of pieces on the pickup table - whatever works best for you. I’ll check in once they’re ready.
